This 10-port hub has not always worked well for several operations I had to unplug it and put my direct connect device.
The most serious is that Monday, February 16, 15, when I had to unplug my USB extension from my tower, i got a short circuit with mini explosion flames and smoke. The circuit breaker of the house jumped out and I thought for a moment that I had blown my computer.
