I do not know why this part is called in Forums Beginner's part, there are the beautiful size hardly a WM6 device with better equipment. In any case I needed a replacement for 2 who died of old age O2 Neos, and have no desire to crush a briquette as the HD2 in the jeans pocket: D The size is thus quite suitable for most pants / jacket pockets, and for me, a good compromise for good as a PDA to serve even without being too small. Height and width is similar to the Neo, but it is thinner and lighter, so it is an overall significant difference, and good in the hand. The material feels good. The features were indeed listed several times, so I will confine myself to the points that are to be regarded as a weakness for me. Yes, unfortunately it's not perfect: D - Camera button is missing: now is not that bad because the camera anyway is not so good, only snapshots are so very difficult, where you want to be in the photograph itself. Because the trigger is only one button on the screen, you can not see when you hold the device the other way around. - Now is not a weakness, but the odd special cable, which is in the process does not use one. IMPORTANT: It fits a standard mini-USB cable. This supplied is thus quite useless, because then I let rather a single normal cable to the PC plug, for Touch2, drive or camera. - Now, however, a really critical weakness: memory card and reset button are not reachable from the outside. When the memory card, it is annoying but still reasonably to get over, because you can access the card as an external USB drive to any PC, even without ActiveSync in WM6. Thus, the Touch2 via USB would indeed also can dock to the car radio, but I can try until I have one with USB. But the reset button under the cover is very poor solved. You need the Windows Mobile unfortunately still, especially if you tried various programs, and a fortiori when applying tweaks from forums. The latter is unfortunately necessary to fix a few things that have Microsoft and HTC verschlimmbessert (eg move memories). - Now comes the critical point that makes the last only so bad: battery, card and reset are behind a plastic lid which is clipped with tiny plastic teeth. The first time it went from hard, it is already easier. I do not think that this unstable hooks are made to last - I have the Touch2 used for 2 weeks with a trial version of SPB Mobile Shell, now a week with TouchFlo (supplied), and sorry to say, TouchFlo can confidently enter into the bin. This can hardly be adjusted, and is light years away from Apple to come even close. The Mobile Shell, however, is highly scalable and provides sophisticated operating concepts, the Touch2 at the factory should be. Only costs that course again $ 30. Or is dispensed with modern operating concepts and used the familiar Today screen of the previous versions, which is freeware as Home Screen Plus and TodayAgenda not surpass to clarity. Conclusion: For a Windows Mobile device, it is for me currently the 1st choice when a handy PDA is sought, which also can make calls. WM is certainly something to install for IT-savvy people who are prepared to manually rectify settings and a few good freeware programs. There are departures for sure not durable battery cover in conjunction with the reset button, and that you actually still have to retrofit a better surface, maybe there since soon a good freeware. Absolute 'technology abstainers "should rather pay the extra and access to Apple or Android with all the consequences for privacy.
