The design is really first class! If one it upright, so she is black satin and above in piano finish at the bottom - really classy. For this purpose a small XBox logo on the lid.
Point I next my old XBox so is evolution rather clearly visible - the new Xbox is really much smaller and flatter than the old.
When you turn on then the next 'wow' factor - you can hear hardly! Boomed the old XBox still very much going on when you turn so the new version comes almost unhöhrbar therefore! Class!
Operation is as before achieved with a small button. Whether this is nen "real" knob with tactile feedback, or so nen sensor thing is actually not care, I like it anyway prefer to push a right button.
The power supply is external, that has always been so and I do not find too bad. Compared to the old power supply but it weighs almost nothing more, here too, the evolution is noticeable.
What some people complain about the "E" version has no optical output. This is in the point you need to know. Since at the present time no longer is but anyway so important, I can get over the loss. As a rule, includes the console anyway via HDMI to the TV and has an optical connection to the AV receiver, or you close the console directly via HDMI to the AV receiver which then grinds to a TV - a visual link so really need nobody more "mandatory".
The accessories for the console is in any case once again complete: a headset (wired), a matching controller with batteries and the necessary cables are connected to this (but no HDMI Kalbel!).
Both games Tomb Raider and Halo 4 are also very "solid" console titles. Note, however, that Tomb Raider is not beiligt as game disc but "only" as DLC in the package (Download size about 6.7 GB). Halo 4, however, lies in their original packaging DVD case with this.
As an accessory I have still so bought a data cable, which I was able to transfer the data from my old XBox to the new - and everything worked great.
Now my good old XBox Elite can return to their box and go into well-earned retirement until I maybe can show my children in some (many) years :-)
Why one buys today a brand new XBox 360 where but the "great" xbox one is there? Very easily:
- Because the XBox 360 provides countless games
- Because the software of the 360 is mature
- Because the hardware of the 360 is mature
- Because in Zunkft still good games will appear for this console generation
I played the publication date with the idea to buy me a ONE, after the initial euphoria has now placed is there but very strong disillusionment occurred that are 3 games available for ONE is only shadows of themselves and the console itself surely not as the bringer ... all in all you can as reasonably sophisticated players at least 1 if not 2 years to wait here a "true" next-gen console in the 2nd or 3rd stage of evolution appears that also the necessary basis provides games to satisfy the needs - and that's what makes a new XBox 360 even now sense!
