I just bought the album Blind times and have to say that I am very impressed by the sound and the text (content / messages). "Trials & Tribulations", which is such a thing. We have often heard of rappers who have so out of the ghetto coming their little problems. Ace Hood wants to get out from the bottom, believe in themselves and their abilities and the "negative vibes" show the middle finger! He sounds very very authentic and throws his entire resume in the scale.
The album is packed full of tragic stories about his family, the death of his grandmother and his daughter (twins, one died shortly after birth / Ace was 23!). The producers give him a dramatic and somber sound carpet, among others were "The Renegades" and "Boi-1da" at the start. Besides Lil Wayne and Meek Mill, deliver the solid parts, but I am impressed especially Chris Brown (Yep!) And Anthony Hamilton with captivating hooks and "Bugatti" is a real board for the Club, and Future Rick Ross stomp the thing completely by start to finish.
For me, a more than average album, which I first wanted to give 3 stars. It has really grown with 2-3 hearing and in no way an album on which one has heard quickly tired. A synthesizer too much, and may even end differently. Just right of the YMCMB corner for the summer!
