This is an absolutely delightful book. Roger Moore comes across as a thoroughly nice chap with Whom one would like to share a pint or two. He Describes his early days as a struggling actor, has lots of funny stories to tell and yet as the perfect gentleman treats everybody (particularly his ex wives) with great respect. His memories of Joseph Locke (The Closest he comes to spilling the beans) had me laughing out loud. HOWEVER, Moore has a very self deprecating sense of humor and his ability to Constantly mocks ACT Which I think is nonsense. Granted, he made some pretty awful film but he learned the craft and he has done so the film did show he can act (Watch For Your Eyes Only- very fine acting and see how the role has evolved from The Spy Who Loved Me) and he has therefore directed and his observations show a great understanding of acting as a craft.
