I really wanted to not interfere in the discussion around ORC and also write any review, but I feel if the prejudices and totally inflexible fanboys but coerced.
I have now played the game about 10 hours and can not understand the negative opinions. Most opinions come states probably because it is not a "real" Resident Evil, which have as expected outside probably the fanboys !? I personal have only the first part of RE on the Playstation gambled extensively and yes, RE: ORC has nothing but also absolutely nothing (of course, except for story) to do with the original RE, but I've also never expected! It was clear from the outset that RE: ORC which is completely different! No one has announced a survival shooter in the style of old parts, it was still clearly said from the beginning that there will be a multiplayer-oriented action game in RE UNIVERSE (!), Which merely fills some gaps story. What will be the game, it is, namely a multiplayer action game. Yes, it is true that the game in single player mode if the poor fellow AI does not win a bouquet, it is also true that graphics and sound are rather mediocre, BUT you do with the game that for which it is intended, namely online to play with and against other players, turns the part on top form!
In four-Coop and the highest difficulty level suddenly everyone Shootout for sweaty struggle for survival, each character with its completely individual skills is totally important to any level of skill and every weapon that you unlock ensures noticeably deep tactical components. And yes, on the highest difficulty nothing is pure racing with simple and low shoot everything. So you have to deny yourself, proceed considering employing skills and weapons meaningful and search the area for over vital items and ammunition. The campaign revolves around the middle / end also really on, is exciting and there is, at least for me, surprising end (by that I mean not the story, but a great game element). If an even that too simple (in the team of four) can try the individually selectable levels, complete with better reviews. S + should be even to experienced game a real challenge and requires a good experienced team ahead. Toll also Gamerscore hunters.
In Versus Mode, it looks similar. All game modes differed totally from each other so you have to reach the landing site of a helicopter but can only accommodate 4 players eg in any of the modes. If now have a 4 players fight two teams to these places and 4 remain one can imagine that the struggle for survival is very tense, because, simply to survive itself is not enough, it must survive more from one's own team as the enemy team, otherwise you lose the round. Or fight in a different modes two teams for the victory by all 4 heroes of the opposing team to be killed, although it spawns new after death, but you lose the first life, is you died a hero. The aim, therefore, not even to die, or to protect the remaining own heroes and bring the same but also the enemy heroes to track that ensures tactical position battles and hide and seek. To conclude my review. The game is only suitable for the multiplayer, also may be no "real" RE expect, but then you will also maintain blinding. If, however play a real RE in Singleplayer, you are in RE: ORC make at the completely wrong address and should steer well clear of this game. Personally, I am firmly convinced that most reviews, pure frustration reviews of fanboys are. XBG Games has awarded 85% in Multiplayer and ConsolPLUS also 85% in Multiplayer. Control was ok for me, goes slightly out of hand, cover system is also ok. Graphic served its purpose, is good mediocrity, Synchro varies from very good are amateurish, but I do not care, I want anyway Action.
