04.01.2013,
Finally, it is now so far, it's there! Waiting for the Keimzeit Acoustic CD is now over.
Beautiful she looks. Atmospheric the cover, which I hold in my hands. Atmospheric, as it promised the descriptions from the shooting place.
If you look up on the cover, warm, dark orange. Reflection of red light a Norwegian Midtsommernacht. Kept simple, black disk on an orange background, the lettering on the booklet unfussy clear. Inside photographic impressions. The members of the band, details, landscape, emotion.
I look at the track list, I'm surprised. There appear title, which I know, far from being heard in a while. News from the preceding tour program mixes with the old. That makes me curious.
I put the disc for the first time in the player, let them go through and hear.
Of course, you think you know the songs. Heard in 1000. This time it's a little different. I discover new facets in old well-known songs. Keimzeit, back to the roots,, I get momentarily. But then again new, gentle, softer tones. Soulful arangiert and supported by Gabriele's violin. Oh ever, enriching aspect which represents the violin in germ temporal songs yet.
The compilation of the CD, very successful, in my opinion. Harmoniously song adds song. One may not at the middle stop, do not interrupt.
Somehow I start to develop mental cinema. Images appear, from the sea, the sun, wind and swaying grass on rough beach. A small riderless boat rocking on the waves lashed. ...
Perhaps imagination, but I think to hear something from the studio atmosphere, all of the titles of the CD. The band brought us the Norwegian coast. A smidgen only, but it's there. Between all of the cheerfulness and melancholy, the sea.
Viewed objectively, a really listenable CD. Surprising but familiar. From the first minute until the end. Only one thing is missing me a little bit. Here it is to hear little of Gabrielle's voice. Of this I would have liked more.
Actually, I had been getting only listen in Keimzeit CDs. Here it is not so. It attacks immediately and closes the heart. For me at least it was.
