Top Machine, pricing policy well ...

PRELIMINARY tip for people who stockpile many Beverages (so that is read directly in the preview of the reviews) on the outer packaging of the Tassimo discs is on it, how many drinks are included (normal 8 or 16), and how big is the drink ( for example, 60/190/245/285 ml). I have the T12 Vivy in use, the smallest. The only difference from the larger models is the contents of the water tank plus a bit more bling-bling The larger the machine. That's not really important to get a good coffee or tea! Buyer also on the different rates of color variants make that can make up 20% or more difference.

But: The pads are relatively expensive compared to other systems, which only pays off when the machine uses very little (as I in the camper). And it produces a lot of garbage. On the other hand, holds any portions sealed T-Disc simply long fresh where open pads have long lost the taste (TIP: MHD ignore coffee and tea discs (not with milk ...) - the MHD for coffee is according to the EU anyway soon abolished).

The machine is top. I use them in the camper, the power consumption is low enough so that I can make coffee while driving with inverter (1500W Short term!). Now my wife has but discovered during the winter break, the machine itself. Original quote: This is a top-quality coffee (Petite-déjeuné Classic). Now the big 1000 Saeco is in the basement, and she sets out once a day with my little here a cup. In the evening sometimes a cappuccino with espresso and milk decafein disc from original Cappucino (Comment: So good I've already long since slept). I think I need one for the RV ...

A big advantage of this machine over a conventional Saeco (or similar machines) is the hygiene. Who is informed knows that the coffee machines have a big hygiene problem partly because you do not rankommt some assemblies, and there collects old damp coffee grounds, which can even go moldy. This may just bad taste, but also cause allergies or worse. The Tassimos the whole part to be cleaned consists of two easily removable components that can develop in 30 seconds, rinse and can reinstall. And coffee grounds can not collect, only beverage residues located there.

For friends of iced coffee first an explanation: each disc When Tassimo is the Brühanweisung mounted on the bar code. thus you have to push a button, the machine reads the code and provides water amount, temperature, and residence time in the capsule depending on the disc. For iced coffee, the machine must therefore take less water, so you afterwards can mix better with cold water / milk. The Icedisk is therefore only a leaflet with a bar code that you insert with the normal Kaffeeedisk in the machine - but this leaflet will cost 6.95 !!

TIP: You can make iced coffee without these Ice discs. Just normal espresso let out, and then with milk ice cubes (ie milk instead of water freezing) to cool, then taste's also not watery!

My gripe, which is why I abwerte a point: You can see the machine hernehmen for Preparing hot water to make tea bag or sachet soups. For this you need barcodes to dispense the appropriate amount of hot water. There is also the Hot-Water disc. Use the rotary wheel selects added 150/250/350 / 450ml, depending on the cup size. This part will cost a whopping 14.95 !! 4 spacer plate photocopying in this machine, it would have been fair, so the smell just after the same rip-off that make the ink printer manufacturer !!
TIP: Instead of Hotwater disc rather buy a kettle for 10, then the tea is also better (because it can draw up longer) and vieeeel cheaper (See my other review for kettle).

TIP: Either you know someone who has this ice-Disks and Hot Water discs, and copy the bar code, or simply raise to blank discs, the appropriate amounts and temperatures water output (eg Teedisks 200ml)! Another tip to: There are vendors who sell a single disc for 1 or so. So to get to a few of the bar codes. But remember: must come from an old disk, of course, coffee grounds or tea out, the moldy!

TIP: I think the Cappuccino discs (disc coffee plus milk separate disk) to expensive (5 to 8 drinks). Dear one liter of UHT milk there and a little milk frother for under 10 (eg "Scanpart milk frother", see my review it), the tastes better and pays for itself after only a few cappuccinos! Only those who want to have it really sooo easy for the ready-made cappuccinos right.

TIP: In contrast to the big coffee machine with grinder comes with this machine, only a small "trunk" with the beverage into contact and can (at least in the T12 Vivy) expand in 30s, rinse and re-install. The rest of the machine only comes into contact with water, rinsed quasi itself. To save to buy expensive descaler (for the immersion heater can of course calcify in hard Wssser), which you then have to re-flush aufwenbdig, and to have an even better taste, you can brew with-calcium mineral water from the Outer Disc! That makes each cup 3ct (espresso) to 10ct (tea) Buffet (at a cheap 40ct / l of mineral water) - but everyone must decide for themselves!

Current price TIP: Our real market in Landshut has repeatedly Tassimo actions, sometimes 30% when you buy 5 packs, sometimes single price 3.79 for all grades. Do not know if other real-markets that also have, but an attempt is worth it (when there is no action to ask me in the market ...)
