Since the investment is manageable, I have much too large quantity (1kg) ordered a trial and previously decalcified two coffee machines with it. The result is fantastic!
As a dosage level tablespoon to 1 liter of water is sufficient (at best lukewarm, then the powder dissolves faster). One could weigh the powder according to the instructions on the pack exactly of course, but that's not necessary. Only an overdose should be avoided, because otherwise can form crystals in the machine.
The ingredient corresponds well to the active ingredient in expensive "Durgol" -Entkalker. Odorless and about 8x as effective as the otherwise customary citric acid descaler. According to Forum sensitive seals, etc. are not attacked.
The "used" descaling of the coffee machine I have collected in a conventional kettle. And there you could watch how dissolve itself strong limestone in a few minutes.
In short, the Eilfix powder is a great and unrivaled cheap stuff for descaling.
