As a first action, I recommend the rejection of the extremely annoying beep tone, the so obtrusively loud irritated at every turn and push motion that I had it withdrawn almost a star, if I had not read that you can park it. Even otherwise, the manual is very helpful and very detailed, but they also must be, in the many programming options offered by the device:
- Only microwave
- Only crickets
- Just Hot Air
- Combination programs microwave and hot air
- Combination programs microwave and grilling
- Defrost program
- Quick-program
- Automatic cooking program
- Programming Several programs
Heating drinks, warm food, defrost frozen food and cook are probably the most typical standard microwave functions that I use most often and always works wonderfully. I was a bit skeptical with regard to the hot air and grill, but tests with pizza baguettes have shown that it works perfectly. They were done even a few minutes faster than in the oven, which is why now pizza, baguettes and Co. are baked in the microwave in the future by hot air and I therefore also can save electricity. In addition to microwave the appliance with the grill and hot air function therefore offers even more versatile possibilities of use. Can you combine the functions well, so if you like to experiment, can enjoy themselves here.
If one has no hotplate or want only a small portion of z. B. cook pasta, so you can select the appropriate program for cooking. Now give 100 g raw pasta in a bowl, about 400 ml of cold water fill, set the program and about 20 minutes later, the noodles are done. Here I was very skeptical, but the result was perfect!
The operation of the device is possible in different ways. There are several keys for the various individual and combined functions. Use the rotary knob you will then set the time or the desired performance and pushes him to start.
I find awkward but the setting for the microwave function, because you can not just set the desired wattage but presses the button one or more times and gets the selected power only displayed as a percentage. The corresponding wattage you have to search for it from the table in the manual out and then enter the cooking time. Press 1 time corresponds to 100% (900 watts), 4 times press (z. B.) are 70 per cent capacity, which according to the table would be 630 watts. The more times you press, the lower the performance. Unfortunately, it is not only inconvenient, but also misleading, because the table is based on a 100% output of 900 watts, but the device has is indicated to an output of 800 watts. The Table agrees obviously not match the device. The values for each keystroke you have to calculate percentages probably even now. For this I subtract a star because a direct indication of the selected and desired wattage would be much more convenient than this calculation or create a value table.
Who just wants to cook everything in the highest power level, just can choose the Quick program that are always 100% power and simply presses for the knob. Each press adds 30 seconds cooking time.
Another adjustment goes beyond the cooking programs 1 to 9, which can be easily selected via the rotary knob. For this you need not input the cooking time of the performance, but indicates the weight. The device determines the rest by itself. The following cooking programs are available:
- Baked Potatoes
- Heat drinks
- Popcorn
- Warming
- Cook pasta
- Baking Pizza
- Fried chicken
- Cake
- Thawing
The device has a cooling function, that is, it goes to a device usage of at least 2 min on a ventilator. That's quite loud and lasts three minutes, but it serves to increase the service life and thus I can live with this fan function. All in all, I find the unit well and very versatile. Too bad that it's sometimes a bit cumbersome to use.
