I certainly have not used all the possibilities of this little super versatile device. In my case, I first used as a wireless repeater, but I will replace it with a pair of Powerline adapters. This is not a problem due to this unit DLink, but rather the fact that repeaters, with rare exceptions, nutilisent a single antenna to transmit and receive. Performance halved so ... must be taken into account. That said, the manual seems to me very detailed and apparently well explained all modes - although I must admit I did not watch much (I'm a long time ... techies). Very compact, also consider the possibility to take him on a journey: it solves all kinds of problems in different circumstances. Also beautiful design. Overall, I think the DLink products are good, working properly, and I have several at this stage.
