*** Volume measurement with various brushes ***

I measured with a dB meter the sound pressure of the original brush:
84 dB directly on Neato, corresponds to a busy street, an alarm clock

71 dB directly on Neato
58 dB at the level of the ears! The brush itself is heard no more, but only the sucking sound, which is much quieter in the volume, as a normal vacuum cleaner or an upright vacuum cleaner.

Conclusion: With the original brush Neator is actually worth only 4 stars. With the very good Vorwerk brush is the only at a 5 star unit. Brush Vorwerk is indispensable!

*** Tip to better filter ***
I have now retrofitted the following filters:
4 HEPA Pet and Allergy Filters for Vacuums Neato XV11, XV12, XV15, XV21, XV25, XV Signature & Vorwerk VR100
This filter keeps more back, is much more stable and has better build its higher air throughput. The surface of the filter is such that it can be cleaned much better during suction with a vacuum cleaner, as the original. The pores of the filter set to not as the original filter. A worthwhile investment!

*** Tip when the suction power decreases ***
If you use the Neato the Erte time, then keep your hands on the back of the air outlet around to get a feeling of how much the air flow must come out of the Neato back. If after a few weeks the suction subside and you notice that the Neato no longer absorbs everything, then check again the air flow behind the air outlet.
