DC first, this laptop there was a lot more reviews than just one. There were many positive but also some negative reviews. Strange the whole. About a week ago I purchased this laptop here at Amazon and I was a happy time at first. The build quality is very solid. The 8 GB SSD are especially noticeable at startup. I was very happy, very nice and bright and with the quality of the screen and in high resolution. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed from the very beginning the spongy control of the touchpad. The pointer often jumps when operating, but you can get used to it. But much worse the built-WiFi adapter is. Internet connection is constantly interrupted and there are connectivity problems appear. Here I am 2 meters from the router. Various solutions have not solved the problem. After an extensive research on the Internet, it has been found that this problem is being watched by some other users of this model and it is well known even at Acer. Unfortunately, there is no reasonable solution. This was a driver issue with Win 8.1. However, it was mitlerweile dissolved. In summary, I find the laptop actually quite good, were not very disruptive problems with the Wi-Fi adapter, and the touchpad. Therefore only 3 stars.
Update: After a few phone calls with Acer and further research on the Internet, I was able to solve the wireless problem. The tip from Acer with regard to the driver update did not help at the beginning. I had quite a few settings in the Control Panel and install the latest drivers before I got a stable internet connection. To pass the time without wireless I bought a wireless flash drive. Unfortunately, I had the same problem at first with the stick. No more problems because I have so since the beginning of January, I am very satisfied with this purchase. The battery lasts if you just wrote or surfs the Internet, quite a long time. Compared to my old laptop of Acer is much lighter and therefore more mobile. The four speakers listen to very good, when you look music or movies, at. However, this applies only if you are the laptop on a table. On his knees, or in bed, the sound goes down, because the speakers are on the bottom. With the hybrid drive I am still very satisfied. However, it is perfectly acceptable. From the original 3 Stars 4 Stars have become now. One star deduction still comes due to a not very good acting for me touchpad to pass.
