Look and sound are okay, but some practical characteristics can be much to be desired. I bought the thing as a clock radio, and for evening play CDs, two features that make it not really mastered: Programming the alarm clock on and off is inconvenient, and no matter what you programmed, the alarm will turn always after 30 minutes again. As for the CD playback: The function of fast forward and rewind is unusable because very slow (less than 2 times normal playback speed), also can not be a return on title boundaries. To design could go on to say that in a gray labeled on silver line of identical keys hardly simplifies operation in semi-darkness, but that still has not gotten around to the Far East. Add to this that the device (without speakers at least) is so light that it runs away at every keystroke. All in all, this part probably not be on my nightstand old.
Addendum: I recently was woken by noise rather than radio, because the unit self (I swear: without anyone touched it!) Has changed from channel 1 to channel 11. So reprogrammed, and lo and behold: you can since also relist other on times than 30 minutes. A firmware with occasional hiccups - but an update option is not provided.
