There was already a lot written on this card, so I will only highlight an important aspect which may be important for prospective customers who wish to upgrade an older PC:
This card I operate in an older ASUS M2N-board (built in 2006/2007) with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ processor. Since I had some skepticism because of the backward compatibility of PCIe 3.0 card. Because the M2N board has only a PCIe 1.1 slot and there are here and there on the net but different opinions and experience with similar configurations. Time it comes, sometimes not, sometimes with restrictions.
The good news: If it comes with definitely, so I can recommend this card for upgrading a M2N boards. Whether one can generally transferred to other boards so I can not say, however, probably not. One should also not expect any miracles, because the full power as in a PCIe 3.0 slot will not be reached safely by the limitations of PCIe 1.1er specification with the lower transmission rates. But since at least the map on the old board is working with me and clean compared to the old simple card before (NVidia 8400 GS) but brings an enormous performance boost, there are still all 5 stars.
Oh: The delivery and purchase with Amazon Prime ran as usual reliably and quickly.
