Works with Inspiron 6400, but the original Dell?

The power supply unit does what it should and supplied my Dell Inspiron 6400 again with electricity after my second power supply (of HooToo,) has given up after just 2 years due to a cable break. The original Power Supply from Dell on the other hand held 4 years by an (intensive mobile use). Okay.

However, I wonder, what constitutes an "original Dell power supply", as advertised here. Yes, it is on it a sticker on which the Dell logo emblazoned, like the original. But the rest looks more like my second power supply that was not original. I mean, not embossed in the housing Dell logo on the front, not a rubber cable tie, and a rather cheap-looking connector between power supply and power cord. Not the end, the device is working; but that's really original? I at least expected something else.

Fact is, the plug connection between power supply and power cord is shaky indeed and dissolves in light train, and the housing heats up faster compared to the previous power supplies on (however still acceptable temperatures). Therefore 1 star deduction. Besides, it is lighter and smaller than my second power supply, actually similar to the original, and the cables are somewhat longer than my two previous devices (not identical to the original, where about 140 cm + 105 cm).

Conclusion: effective power supply that does its job a little heatedly; However, my opinion is not "original Dell".

*** Update December 13, 2013: now the plug has significant damage, the Pinspitzen seem melted and bent one of the pins. After less than 8 months! I upload an image to. Neither with my original Dell nor the Ersatznetzeil I had this problem, although both were significantly longer in use, and I have my usage practically not changed! Actually, I had been with any device such a case. For 2 star deduction! I run the power supply to the cable now my first replacement power supply on and hope it still delivers a while current.
