And if one pays attention to the steam holes in the lid, you do not burn your fingers. So vegetables, potatoes, etc. just evaporate! In addition, you have the certainty that nothing, but nothing at all burnt. I had the water up to max. filled and put the timer to 40 minutes.. After the time was still about half of the water in the container. So 1 filling lasts well for 1 hr. Steamed. I'm concerned only enthusiasm; and at this super low price.
