Upon opening the box the signature and seriousness Connectland are omnipresent. Beautiful black metal case with pretty silver silkscreen prints on top and bottom. The front and plastic back are screwed into metal inserts, ideal for many disassemblies. A thin screwdriver "design" comes with a micro-screws surplus. The HDD Sata 2.5 (in my case Seagate Momentus or Western Digital Scorpio Blue) is held on one side by the SATA connector and the other by compression, easy as pie. A plastic sheet attached to the SATA connector can isolate the hard disk of the case, the seriousness in simplicity. Positive side: the 3 cords, power supply over USB (not very useful), USB2 (with ferrite) and eSATA are long and of high quality. The compartmentalized protective pouch may also contain all cables. Windows Vista and Windows Seven the hard drive stops by itself as soon as the activity on folders is reduced. Surprising and very practical since hard drive does not heat. The function light is visible connection side and on top of the box, perfect. With eSATA interface, a SATA II hard drive and write / sequential read transfer rates are at least triple the USB2 (test with CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1) which is very useful for fast backups. Another advantage of size for the testers: the robust design of the case allows without any difficulty many hard drives trade. On the negative side: nothing to report; all the more you can stick 4 non-slip adhesive feet to protect the combo. In summary, neither worries nor limitations, Connectland a product of high class and high precision. A beautiful highly recommended package!
