The Navigon 4310 was eigenlich planned as a successor device for my old Navigon 2100. Compared to my 2100, the search needs for satellites in the open air at 4310 an eternity. My old 2100 is as fast and indicates more satellite. The voice acting is nuschelig in 4310. With the NAVIGON Fresh software, it is possible to update the 4310 and also to buy FreshMaps. The software is full of bugs, as you can sometimes pointless to spend a whole evening. Support queries are answered only after a week. Purchase decisive for 4310 was the discount offer on the FreshMaps Map Update. The thing with the voucher code does not work. Instead I was charged with the reduced regular full amount. On my complaint to the Navigon support, I was referred to the Terms and Conditions, there is no refund. I have the 4310 returned. I therefore advise stay away from 4310, the device is mediocre and the endless wait in the telephone support hotline will cost money too.
