So I opted for a TOMTOM GO730 Traffic. The very fast satellite detection, which has always been given in the assessment, was ultimately crucial for me. My old Navi (PDA with Navisoftware) had his problems since.
It was also as described by many, within seconds gave the device the current location. I would not dwell on the many functions that these have already been described many times and everything was top. Now you might think, I give it 5 stars so much praise, but there is only one (and that is already too much).
True friends can be seen only in an emergency. And this I did not at TomTom. Each device can break down. And for a decent service no problem. In my TOMTOM the interface was broken by the device. So quickly called the hotline, Attention goes after about 12-16 minutes but one answer the phone and do not really help. After many trials and therefore ordinary telephone costs, then the Note, the device needs to be returned. Because I wanted to go in 3 weeks vacation, came to me again and again the question of how long the repair and over again the answer 14 days. Each of the service TOMTOM knows know now that I was without this holiday selling device on vacation.
On request and after a total of 4 weeks, the machine was back. Interface back in order. But all was well in advance of the device, there was no longer. Sattelite finding between 6-8 minutes. All addresses were sometimes after restarting no longer exists. The fixed flash systems, service must be purchased, were no longer managed. So again a lot and long listened to music in the service call attempts, then take the notes, the old software, then worked at one time Bluetooth no longer so new yet again etc.
When questioned at AMAZON (Attention there, the call is accepted immediately, I was no longer accustomed to), I was asked to send in the device for a second time.
So sent back to TOMTOM, after 14 days of demand (still the same music at the hotline) answer the unit has not arrived "So UPS called (even when UPS is equal to one answered the phone) and there queried the Zustellurkunde (I was immediately transmitted ) and passed on to TomTom. Every day an email to TOMTOM where is my device "after a week had yourTomTom found and after a total of 4 weeks, it came back. After short tests was to determine it was just as defective as before.
So all pack up and return to Amazon. At this point, kudos to Amazon, within a week I had the message, which will be refunded the amount, SUPER, that is service. The never incurred friendship TOMTOM was finally finished and my tip: "Never buy a TomTom".
