This album is simply historical. Indeed there is the metal before and after the Black album because it exposed the Heavy disk to a larger audience and opened many doors for many other groups while inspiring a multitude of musicians. Metal Metallica or even would not be the same today without the Black Album. The songs are excellent and varied. Heavy with Sad but true, classical with Sandman Wherever I May Roam and, although the Holier than thou good with, Of Wolf and Man, Through the Never, The God that Failed ... The production is the best ever on rélisée a metal album, Hetfield sings really, well-constructed solos ... Nothing to say, it takes you; it's been 12 years that I listen and I do not get enough.
