The book of Pat Parelli should become if not the bible of the least reference book of any rider or horse lovers. The approach of the horse-human relationship based on understanding of horse psychology and persuasion (rather than force and coercion) is not only extremely effective but also the only one that should be promoted and taught in the equestrian world . Pat Parelli is certainly not the only holder in the "truth" in this area but his philosophy and method are very well explained in this book (sometimes a bit redundant and repetitive) and also have proven to be effective for those who have them tried. In short, I highly recommende this book is anyone who wishes to better communicate with horses and establish a harmonious relationship with them.
