Kylie Minogue (Audio CD)

Customer Review

In 1994, "Confide in me" was released as a first single for this album, I have been listening for quite. The woman can yes really make good and challenging music. The album was needed as soon as possible, and behold a first class pop album. She finally made it to the floor / Aitken / Waterman - to solve Pop. The album offers first-class pop songs. "Confide in me" to this day is their best song ever.

"Surrender", "If I was your lover" and "Automatic love" are more pop pearls of the album, while each song has its own character.

With "Where is the feeling", "Falling" and "Where has the love gone" we go along with Kylie on the dance floor, just beautiful dance hits, not to intrusive, pounding bass, class.

The 2nd single "Put yourself in my place" grants us then between a breather - a super ballad.

Probably the strongest song on the album is then "Dangerous Game", accompanied by orchestral music, assuming the partly dramatic trains running Kylie's voice on top form. All critics should hear this song times. He is the proof - they can sing, and how!

Once managed Kylie Minogue still to achieve this standard, to outdo even specifically with their 98th studio album. Unfortunately, she was not rewarded by the plate buyers in proportion as it has it presented well. They returned in 2000 back to its reinforced lightweight dance-pop music, similar to the music produced by Stock / Aitken / Waterman. The chart success came back, the quality of the title, however, remained somewhat on the track. From time to time this can flashed with individual songs like "Slow" or "2 Hearts" again, but their albums never reached until today this high level. The commercial success attracts probably something more. Too bad, they can do so much more.
