Kylie Minogue celebrates its 25th anniversary on stage and has come up to something very special, just a normal ansatt Best of throwing on the market it has taken some of their biggest hits (in addition to a couple of lesser-known tracks) completely rearranged. In the famous Abbey Road Studios has gone along with orchestra and created entirely new robes for the songs. The individual elements, such as instruments and vocals were not separated from each other and recorded afterwards joined together, but everything added together and you can hear that, that that's really great about this album. It has everything a very special atmosphere which is very close to a live concert. Everything looks real and unfiltered, Kylie's grandiose voice as well as the fantastic instrumentalization.

Starts with All The Lovers, the first single from Kylie's last regular album Aphrodite, un This shows equal the musical strength of the Abbey Road session: Reduced to acoustic instruments and the clear voice of the singer, at first quietly, later backed by convincing Beat learns the song a dramatic increase and is very different from the more electronic atmosphere of the original.

On A Night Like This, which was an up-tempo love song in his studio version, so has again gained greatly in size and power of expression, one has the feeling to have a whole new song in front of him who works intensely. A dramatic climax completes the whole as skillfully.

In origin Better the Devil You Know is a party song that has, however, completely changed here and has become a quiet and haunting ballad. Kylie shows here that it is also a very sensitive and emotive singer, won the song from completely new sides.

The same applies to hand on your heart, which was quite economical arrangement with guitar, piano, a few violins and a little rhythm Intrum ducks, but is very well done by Kylie's intense, emotive and sometimes hauntingly fragile vocals.

Next is I believe in you, who has conversion not survived so without prejudice. The magic of the original has been lost a little, the verses dabble a bit in front of him and can not so much as tie the other songs on the album. Towards the end of the song goes on but again and condenses to a successful culmination.

Come into my world from the Fever album recollects here more to the original emotion of the text and shows Kylie as desiring and love needy woman who invites her beloved in her world and promises, all for him to be thrifty but haunting accompaniment only piano and some backing vocals help them.

Finer Feelings, which not one of the most famous numbers of the singer is, rhythmically, but gently arranged with drums, which is an interesting contrast with the very melodic chorus.

Confide in me is very grim and initially strongly focused on the voice of Kylie, acts once very quiet. On and on increases then the intensity of the play, then returns at the Bridge back in quiet fields and then goes right on. Electric guitars and drums are again dramatic dominant here.

With the largest conversion Slow has learned that presented itself in the original as a small electric monster and here presented in a very jazzy, opulent version which is based on the last tour of the singer. Completely new facets both the song and the voice of Kylie wrested a little bulky and perhaps because so terrific.

The 80s Hit The Locomotion, one of the pieces that have made so famous Kylie, is heard here in a 50s-power number that really makes a lot of fun simply. Brass, a lilting chorus and a singer who audible enjoy this transformation has another highlight and one of the few, but very successful uptempo songs this record.

Of course, not missing the mega-smash hit Cant Get You Out Of My Head, which Kylie has taken his time to one of the biggest pop icons. Many violins playing in short staccato, give a very special atmosphere and give the familiar song a completely different appeal. Again, some swings with more dramatic, rhythm and catchy staging take the listener completely in the spell.

For Where the Wild Roses Grow Kylie Minogue has once again connected to Nick Cave and re-recorded the somber duet, very reduced, for the time being accompanied only by an acoustic guitar, later combined with a catchy drum beating. So the so conflicting voices of both artists come very effective, the extraordinary love story moves so even more in the foreground.

The only new song, which was previously only performed live during the X-Tour 2008, it has on the album, the last is now also available in a studio version for fans of the singer a real candy Flower. Much orchestral, opulent accompaniment, a singer in top form and a sweet and yet exciting and contrasting melody let this song quickly become a catchy tune.

Also the change from uptempo song in this very special dress Abbey Road session has I should be so done lucky, in which the string ensemble can sometimes mount up so right and contributes almost alone beside Kylie singing the song, the so a dramatic ballad has become.

A little more cheerful and exhilarating it comes to at Love at first side. At first, it really sounds here like Kylie had grabbed a guitar and spontaneously sung the song, but also at the later onset of Drums is a pleasant and casual atmosphere, the well carrying the melody as the elaborate original package.

The conclusion is busy with Never too late with a nice ballad, which is carried by Kylie's voice and a sonorous piano. By far not a bad song, but maybe a little too simple to to this powerful album to really excite.

As a real little book, this version of the album was bound, the paper is matt and firm, small parts of the Sheet music complement each other with elegant pictures of the pop diva. A very high-quality packaging, which is the album full justice. Just a shame that it, namely Wow has managed only on the Australian version of the album, another song.

A very round and intense album, very organic and insistently, Kylie shows new sides of herself and her songs and proves that it can even without big show or electronic samples make very beautiful music.
