Currently we hear from many young, aspiring rock bands. Maroon 5 belong to it, but what sets them apart from all the other bands and singles out is their distinctive stalk. The guys from California combine musical genres such as funk, soul, pop and rock. This makes the sound so individual that one probably does not find similar sounding band in the world. The Maxi CD is a very good taste of the debut album "Songs About Jane". "Harder To Breathe" presents Maroon 5 from their hard side, the heavy guitar riffs and the extremely good drum grooves give the song a whole lot of power. The singer Adam Levin rounds the whole thing on his dominant and unique voice. It follows the very mature B-side Ragdoll that has quite long player qualities. The third song "Secret" is another single from the album and shows the guys from her quiet soul page. This song reveals that Adam Levin has an incredibly diverse timbre. If you have seen a true-rock singer with "Harder To Breathe" One has to listen only to the right place "Secret" until you realize Levins voice again! I can only recommend this single. Friends of soul, funk and rock will certainly positive to have fun with this CD.
