I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend who advised me in my personal journey, well I was not disappointed! For me this book is really a cornerstone for anyone looking to walk spiritually. Neither prosélitique or wacky, Scott Peck begins describe the two necessary foundations built a whole life are love and discipline which his patients starved to varying degrees, consciously or unconsciously, because of their parents or of their own doing and tries somehow to heal. He continued his work by analyzing however leads a life of love and discipline that is the perception of the world in which the individual lives and religion (Religion in the sense "understanding of the world around us") . Scott Peck finally ends his book with "grace" that is, everything that is not due to the individual but which still influences on his life, as "lucky breaks", miracles, the unconscious, etc.
