I knew the ideas of Jean Marc Jancovici and heard (via Youtube) his courses at the Ecole des Mines de Paris and read a lot of his writings. But then, I have been interested in linear reading to better follow the thread of thought and consistency of ALL OPERATING. This book was needed. Besides the section on energy and its key role throughout the economy (which I already knew), I have particularly enjoyed the entire party draws large dune energy policy lines that ultimately proves to be just short of any policy (and in the noble sense of course). The solutions are often advanced in terms of technician but not a technocrat; he calls physical things by physical and words that I find it well (progressive abandonment of the suburbs (Jove) developing medium cities more numerous renovation (light insulation! thermal) of the real estate, agriculture reconfigured with less means farmed cattle and nearest places of consumption, modes of transport to encourage (train, light car) and finally the types and how to promote dénergies: Nuclear vs. PV panels and wind, solar thermal (but south Maghreb), forestry for wood energy, developing CO2 sequestration for coal plants etc and finally the intelligent link in the chain. carbon taxes (to naturally curb the intake and CH rejection of Co2). Anything goes and lon in spring with a cleared mind, something that does not fail to have a positive effect on envy to roll up his sleeves. Yes, this is the clarity that it takes for people to want Dagir, have even want to excel. This book contributes, even if the road is still long for that to succeed in the minds of many.
