This book was given to me. If this had not happened, I would have never consulted, despite the beauty of the photographs. Indeed, the horse is not part of my favorite bestiary. This book yet fascinated me by his discreet but solid scholarship, accurate descriptions, anecdotes reported, the quality of style, humor, reflection on evolution, adaptation, human reports animals (especially the "sick horse man"). In short, it is read with great pleasure and, in the end, we look at the horses otherwise whether their representations (including photographs) or those that are seen growing in the meadows and "natural" spaces. Those who attend will learn the animal probably also a lot, judging by the scale of documentary sources indicated modestly to the end of the book. If you offer it, it will only get happiness ... and if you love horses, it is urgent to make you offer ... I write this because the version with illustrations is a bit expensive .. . and you will notice that there is no occasion in progress ... but the beauty and quality have a price! and it is printed and bound in France ....
