Mitzi Meyerson register here the first complete harpsichord works of this composer (since that of Simone Stella also including organ work was published by Brilliant) and this one is successful. It not only bears comparison with (or exceeds) the set level of Simone Stella (yet good enough) but also with anthologies of Gustav Leonhardt and Rinaldo Alessandrini.
The harpsichord Keith Hill (probably German type) is perfect with a lovely sensitivity "rope" and clear resonances that not too obscurent readability, but long enough to give effect "organistic" befitting pretty good at this music.
There is a lightness and vitality in this game, I still prefer to authority (also very nice) Leonhardt. In fact, Mitzi Meyerson has a swift and full game of life that approximates that of Robert Hill in his wonderful recordings of Bach's early works again on a harpsichord of his brother Keith, which is no small compliment ...
It also expresses well the intimate dimension that is increasingly evident in these two discs including superb frobergiennes suites (long attributed to Froberger also what prove their quality)
Some blame this integral being too light and virtuosity, but I find this fantasy well placed here (much better than in componenti musicali Muffat for example) in this double album is one of the best recordings with his parnasse Meyerson musical Fischer.
