I'm not a hero when ironing. I like ironing wrinkles items, rather than out and some tablecloth I never get smooth again. Linen I buy not only after I've found that I am not able to get this substance again creases. The invention of the steam iron has indeed improved the results of my efforts, but not perfected. Many years ago I had the very expensive Merlin unit which included an iron. The unit had 8 bars and has convinced me of high quality steam iron, yet I have after the Merlin has given up the ghost, long worked with a unit from the discounters.
The Rowenta iron comes in a compact box. Unwrapped It has a weight of 5 kg and a dimensions of about 38x20x30 cm. Conclusion: It's worth money for a reasonable ironing station issue. But you have to have the space for it and must not forget that the device is only as good as its operator.
