I find it interesting that Bruce Guthro has been thinking about it back in 2002 to release a Christmas album, as one can read in the archives of his website. I quote again:

This is a line of text from "Boy From The Woods," for me the most beautiful Christmas song that I know. However, I found earlier versions where Bruce has accompanied only with acoustic guitar to much emotional and intense than the variant that it has now made it to the CD. But otherwise I find the album managed a nice mood for Christmas and the festive season.
