Herwig is a magician with words, even if you do not always recognize the meaning of his lyrics at once - his language is so vivid that the head makes its own film to do so. The unconventional arrangements and soundscapes support these "movies" congenial. The plate is anything but film music - the style of the song is somewhere between hard rock and funk. On the plate just a weaker song is Me: "German lice" by AC / DC's gecovert "Crabsody in Blue". Songs like "One way or another," "Ocean", "cold wie'n stone" or "You and I" (a gorgeous ballad for his daughter Dinah!) Meet even today with every note, with each syllable to the point! Overall, the panel looks rather gloomy and aggressive because Herwig processed the divorce from his wife here. A foretaste already offered his song "Glass Palace" by Spliff album "Congratulations" a year earlier. Who has never heard a song about self-doubt and his own superego (of Rudolf Herwig Mitteregger): it's exactly so in "Rudi". Outstanding!
