With "Envoutement of Archery," "Hunting with bow and arrows" is the book that launched and sustain bow hunting in the United States. But this classic remains unalterable freshness by its ethical approach of a hunting mode demanding and difficult course material and gesture of the archer have evolved, but the spirit of this book should permeate every hunter in bow in his quest for fair arrow. Broken down into two parts: the first deals with the manufacture of equipment (English longbow profile D) and its use; the second consists of hunting stories lived by Pope and Young (bear, cougar, bighorn sheep, ...) If there is a complaints at all, it is the ethnocentrism of the author when the alleged superiority of the equipment and the technical issue of the English tradition with respect to Native American hunting techniques; but we must take into account the time in which this book was written. It is a great historical work with which the amateur enrich his collection on the bow hunting.
