A cry of love towards Marseille

A cry of love towards Marseille

Should we leave Marseille? (Paperback)

Customer Review

A book that gives a terrifying image of this beautiful city of Marseille submerged by immigration and ruined by mismanagement and corruption of elected officials.

Through testimonies José Arrigo draws an indictment that one feels sincere and far from the image that elected officials want to give this city through communication. The Marseillais become a minority in their own city and the temptation of the leak seems to gain the whole world. But this flight will it still make sense as Marseille France seems prefigured the future, made of immigration from African and Muslim culture? The wall between the north and south at the end of this short essay made me think that identifies the grant Paris in the novel Tomorrow barbarians. The end of a Living Together already largely illusory. A Marseille Berlin on the edge of war. A book away from the cry of hatred that some expect, a cry of love and despair for this city so endearing and lost by the fault of a pseudo-elite is losing the country.
