This book is great because unlike the other on the same theme (ecology, decay) it is not alarmist or preachy. He does not feel guilty, he presents the change as positive for the planet but especially for us, our home if we apply the practical advice of Bea. It makes you want to change and this is probably the key to success. The book is clear, concise, well written and gives detailed advice and references for further. For me this has particularly hit home is that Bea was "rich", besides consuming and almost overnight has radically changed his life. Like everyone else could. His example is very telling.
