A frightfully heavy narration!

I had no pleasure in reading this novel I found heavy and tasteless.
This reading was tedious, I forced myself to go to the end of the book because I do not like doing things halfway ,, but long ago it had not costed me so much.
History has trouble starting, it is so convoluted that it becomes uninteresting ...
The characters have no flavor, starting with Kay Scarpetta herself.

More to my reading progressed, I took a horror style and narration of the author ... I could not go to these "dialogues" Kay Scarpetta or all sentences end with "I replied ... I repeat ... I storm ... I explain ... I rectify ... I correct "!!!!!!!
Ms. CORNWELL pity!
The author should she fear ... that we did not understand reader who speaks !!!!

Two stars, one because we can do no less ...
... The second for vocabulary phrases purposes ... "I retort ... I rant ... I said ... I admit ..."
Wow ... rarely twice the same expression is still strong, it should be done !!!
