A gelunges debut

One thing first. Songs is not a solo album. At least not in the eyes of Adel Tawil. Solo albums have his opinion a bad aftertaste. It always seems as if finally do what he wanted to do without the band has long been a musician. But with him it was not the case. Rather, it is a fresh start and so songs is his debut album. Even if you do not like sharing nobility opinion, it would be no real solo album. Because a significant number of titles developed with at least one singing partner. And also in the songs, in which no party is specified, Adel does not sing alone. Be it Sido, Prinz Pi, the two Humpe Sisters, Matisyahu and his wife Jasmin Tawil. It almost seems that Adel no trust in his own abilities. But this is not so.

With songs needle presents a debut album, which is known and yet new. Very nicely varied and yet equally. Thoughtful, yet cheerful. It spans here with only 13 regular songs already a wide range of emotions. During the first two songs even more leisurely, thoughtful and careful therefore come, and + I reflect the style of I a little, it comes from poppy songs already down to business. Here travels needle through his own musical past and takes the listener. With ash flight and its partners Sido and Prinz Pi to needle the direction of hip hop and rap genres embarks him. The song is very insistent and his vocals are the song the necessary calm while Sido and Prinz Pi convince with aggression in the voices and words. As a bonus I link below even the whole video with more than 8 minutes of runtime, in the ex-Real-singer Kim Frank a short film directed by a story that makes you think. As with any good music, there are also small pearls that stand out in particular. Here sounds noble in places like Rio travel and generated at least for me, so goosebumps. But overall, all the songs are very well done and invite you to always re-hearing.

CONCLUSION:

Who Adel Tawil and his voice already liked when I + I, can not get around this album. With its successful blend, both content of the musical styles, it can convince me first to the last song. You decide finally on what version, everyone must make with yourself. But the double-CD should be there already, as the bonus tracks are not simply a nice addition, but have their own special charm, I would not have missed.
