Why then I give 3 stars?
Because I, despite all its shortcomings, had some fun. Yes, it can compete in any way with current shooters, but as "XCOM fan" I had my joy in the good old Mutons, Sektoiden Outsider and drones to seh again .. ehm ... pacify. Unfortunately, until now (and I'm feeling almost) no Thin Man, floaters, Cyber discs Chryssalids and the rest of them. It was at least an admittedly quite short and expensive shortening the waiting time for XCOM Enemy Within, but alternatively, it would only since the 8th time by play of XCOM Enemy Unknown remained. Yes, I know there are other great games, but taste-sided simply nothing comes ran to the gameplay of UFO Enemy Unknown and Terror from the Deep.
Looked at soberly, I regret to advise of this game, unless someone is just as broken as I when comes to the XCOM topic. Pretty stupid to let the Group program something just because you think that money can be earned only with shooters. Even if it would be niche: it would be a great niche, if you would rather put the money for the development of The Bureau in Enemy Within.
Because that's what the fan base wants: UFO Enemy Unknown with a modern twist. Nothing more, nothing less and not much different.
