I just got "seduced" by a Amazon Firesale leave and expected, due to some Internet opinions to get a heavy, bulky, moderate zoom lens. Instead, the lens is large, but light, with crisp picture quality, high speed, with good stabilizer and good zoom range, and for a reasonable price for Sony. Those looking for Luxorphotoart, still finds a significantly more detailed review of this zoom. The strength of this lens is the range of 35 to 105 mm, even at f4. Who maintains its 1650 objective and utilizes it for the range of 16-35mm and if space is a compelling argument, thus has an almost unbeatable combination. The more expensive in 1670 I had already been tested earlier (also, a report will be found). For 800 Euro me the difference for 1650 was then not big enough. I have a blind comparison f8 set in a forum in which the majority of the images with the 1650 einschätze than better. In my 24mm 1670 was disappointing, f4 moderate at 70 mm. The 18105, however, is above 35 mm really good, only a remnant of visible distortion can cloud the picture somewhat. As I usually do not perceive this or can auskorrigieren RAW images also, I do not mind that. From 18 to 35 mm, the 18105 is also okay if something is dimmed.
