Deeper Than Rap (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Since I can not understand in the least why "deeper than rap" has so far been undervalued at this location so I would like to write a few words about this as I find great album, even though now with "Teflon Don" Another high-caliber freshly thrown out of the house Ross on the market. I will keep myself fairly short, because it all came down to me to put a counterweight to those who probably have a different taste than I do.

I think "deeper than rap" for Ricky Ross best ever and rundestes album. The first 5 pieces results in a number fresher, summer numbers, which seem to me much more mature, much as on the two previous albums, and even these are very höhrenswert. With "Mafia Music", one of the pieces with which the boss is processing here at 50 cents, it starts powerfully and extremely flowig. "Maybach Music II" is characterized by its typical T-Pain chorus for catchy and provides with Kanye and Weezy two high-profile guests who present themselves appropriately. It is then very summery continue with "Magnificent", "Yacht Club" and "Usual Suspects", before with "All I Really Want" the first weaker piece is heard. I note that this also applies to many other albums for pieces where as here The Dream was featured.

With "Rich of Cocaine" follows a masterpiece of Chilligkeit. For me, this summer piece par excellence, which I now times leave the message of the text to other personal rating. This alone is almost worth the purchase, and you would like to travel to the south.

Then there is the Robert Thicke feature in the chorus of "Lay Back" but a bit exhausting. The verses still remain well accustomed. In "Murder Mami" harmonize Rick and Foxy Brown perfectly. Nice to hear again with mature voice. The rapper gunplay and whose style I really do not like. However, he makes the following homonymous piece, together with his mentor Ross a decent figure.

In "Bossy Lady" is similar to "Lay Back" hit Acceptable verses on rather annoying chorus because I Ne-Yo simple again sings something to jodelig here. Then Trina comes in "Face" and turns out to be good choice and enrich the album. Actually, it looks more like a piece with Trina Ross feature. Both make it usual good about it and give a lot of power radiates the hervoragendes Duo. The last two pieces of "Valley of Death" and "In Cold Blood" do not require features and form a successful conclusion.

"Deeper than Rap" is in my eyes Rick Ross' best album. Here, as in the successor "Teflon Don", it shows certainly a maturation of Ross' rap style and also a musical progression with respect to the pieces in. Both albums I therefore rate it with 5 stars, while the predecessor "Trilla" and "Port of Miami" even really are highly recommended, but (I would rate this) only 4 per star would get because they have too many dropouts.

I hope to have brought this Brief little more balance in the range of opinions about "deeper than rap". Enjoy listening!
