Published in 1999, Jay-Z the last part which is not so appreciated by the fans, "Lifetime" series. It was by far the best and was in the US a whopping 3x platinum, which is due to a large Aufegbot to Star and Producer hochkaräatigen features. The opener "So Ghetto", which has a simple, yet really hot beat of DJ Premier, skin purely real. Also "Dopeman" that comes from the hands of DJ Clue, is really crude, acting through the bell in the background even really bombastic. Actually, you would need at this beat no rapper, Jigga but does its job perfectly, thus improving the whole thing. Other very great songs are the legendary "Snoopy Track" with Juvenile and of course "Big Pimpin '" with UGK, both of which were produced by Timbaland. Although they are more commercial and mainstream, but nevertheless do really fun. Swizz Beatz was for the instrumentals of "Things That U Do" feat. Mariah Carey, which is again very trendy and at the Jay-Z fans back then cared for properly in a bad mood, and bonus track "Girls Best Friend" of the tops even responsible and has thus anything but with glory. "It's Hot (Some Like It's Hot)", is actually rather boring, but clearly aufgewehrtet by the Diss "I'm about a dollar / what the fuck is 50 Cent", but otherwise it does not require much attention. Really cool and therefore the highlight of the album is "Is That Yo Bitch" with Twista and Missy Elliott. Timbaland's Beat pumping huge and has neatly Drive, to the fast rape of J-Hova and the incredible performance of Twista, rain down its Rhmyes a like a daunting machine gun. Only Missy disturb something, although I must say that she has gone to for once trouble and thus has become their idea to the best of their entire career. These were the very best tracks from "Vol. 3 ... Life & Times Of S.Carter", but there is the produced by Swizz Beatz bonus track "Jigga My Nigga" and "S.Carter" with Amil two other very good Songs, which, although the hit potential is missing, which nevertheless are very strong but. If you want to be honest, one must say even that out "Things That U Do" are no blackouts, no more than a few average songs like "Pop 4 ROC", "Come And Get Me" and "ny". This again shows the significant increase to the two weaker predecessors. Also of lyrical side things have improved. Jay-Z has moved away from the flat texts about money and women something and focuses on old strengths. Of course a lot of Poser land, but the make as in the case of "Big Pimpin '" more fun than they annoy. After "Reasonable Doubt" was "Vol. 3" the first album that you could completely by listening again. Although all followers were stronger, but that should a Jay-Z fan discourage them not to add itself this board. All others should check it out in advance, because a new revelation of the rape did not provide the Jigga with it, but a solid album for everyday life.
