This is typically the kind of historical romances that I adore and who do good! I believe that the first novel cétait Sabrina Jeffries I was reading and I can tell you that this is not the last. This is a fairly traditional novel in its characters, but in the style that works perfectly from start to finish.
In fact, nothing new, we have the right to a real debauched forced marriage not by his mother but his grandmother (what one has seen). And as these grandmothers are really strong, they know their grandchildren and know where support for it hurts. Grandma Hetty therefore néchappe to the rule and determined to marry his little band dénergumènes!
She meets her 5 grandchildren and told them that if a year from here they are not married, they will lose their inheritance. They each character and it naurait not only more efficient but Hetty knows their weak point: the love that unites them. And that is just as special, they never would do something that could cost their siblings (they are three brothers and two sisters). But they do not go so far as to let walk all over and get married without a fight.
And it is therefore our profligate, eldest of the family, traumatized since the death of his parents, my adorable Oliver decides dentamer war of nerves with his grandmother. What better why to bring the worst fiancée that her granny could imagine! So that he sets out to find the ideal woman becomes almost above him, Maria is perfect for the role and in addition she needs his help she can not quaccepter to play this comedy even if it's against the sandstone.

We meet in fact here all brothers and sisters dOliver and I can tell you that level character, bad reputation, whims and peculiarities, they promise the best. Dailleurs, these are all the secondary characters that are perfect, each with a role played to perfection, and I think the same quon find some in the next volumes.
A couple who makes sparks, daventures a zest, a touch of mystery and a lot more with humor, that burst of distributed, small family plots, double triple see games, smooth writing, without any dead time, with events senchaînent which alone, as many of elements that make this first volume a total success to taste without hesitation.
The second volume comes out on February 4 and I can assure you that I will monitor its output. I really look forward to seeing this atypical family aristocracy Londoner!
