It was in September 29, 2014 I was able for the first time live at the Halle Münsterland Joe Bonamssa. He played three songs from the then recently released album Different Shades of Blue namely: Oh, Beautiful, Love Is not A Love Song and I Gave Up Everything for You, 'Cept the Blues. Here I first heard the songs of Different Shades of Blue. Even then I was very fond of this song. Seamlessly blended into the set list of popular songs. After the concert, I received the album as a gift. The album has invariably to great songs in the known for Joe Bonamassa grade. Especially nice is my judge it after the title song Different Shades of Blue. But songs like Get Back My Tomorrow and my personal favorite on the album So, What Would I Do are true hit. Clearly, Joe Bonamassa has once again confirmed that he is a master of his craft. Had not given me the album, so a purchase would have been a matter of course for me.
