I started the saga of the Sword of Truth by bone Debt, the prequel. I had been disappointed by a certain flatness of style. This first volume made me the same effect: a few empty phrases, lack of wealth in the choice of vocabulary, who asked me some difficulties to fully immerse myself in the book, and have made my drawling reading but Perhaps this is related to translation. Yet I held out to the end, and despite this regrettable incident form, I must admit that the bottom is well put together. The psychologies of the characters are well studied, rich, advanced, and attaches it or hate it quickly each according to their role! This is what prompted me to read volume 2, and I regret it absolutely not. So to all lovers of the beautiful French language, who like feathers bringing him acclaim (I think Leah Silhol particular), I advise you not to stop on the form, but really tie you to a bottom that turns more and more promising over the pages.
