Already Wallander was not a gay dog, then we sink into the sordid. The hero is suffering from cancer, and he learns that a former colleague was murdered in horrible conditions. The origin seems to date back to the Second World War, as we suggested in the prologue.
Stefan Lindman, who is on sick leave because of his cancer, will go to help the investigation unofficially. But it is very disturbed, denies his current life with her friend, rejects everything about his life because he does not admit of being sick (that would take good?).
Some passages are very dark, but it's a great investigation that will lead us into the depths of Nazism and neo-Nazism.
Mankell decidedly not lose the hand and better.
Congratulations.
