Praise of weakness (Paperback)

Customer Review

In this book Alexander Jollien back on his youth spent in a rehabilitation center fonctinnelle. Indeed, following an accident happened at his birth, and was very handicapped. Although express in words was difficult.
In the form of a dialogue between him and Socrates, he said, without concessions, the daily physical and mental challenges, small victories on disability, bullying and solidarity between "disabled".
This period of his life and fight for change earned him to get to the philosoqhie - the latter having saved after him.
This book reads easily (perhaps too) as the ideas are expressed simply, clearly, with perfect honesty.
A good book for those who are not satisfied with their lives while their body obeys them.
