I once loved and played tennis, watched the champions compete in major events, read all that was said of them ... Through this book, I relived those moments, got I remembered the days of questioning, the desire to be in their place but also what I guessed that such sacrifices life represented. Agassi has not written a book on tennis although it is a very present backdrop and although the sport has undeniably shaped one way or another the man he has become. He took the chance to tell his difficult journey, painful, complicated, how he had gradually grown up in front of journalists and their family, on and off of a tennis court. Uncompromising on him and others, without ignoring his bad choices, blunders, mistakes, responsibility, strengths and also the strong links he has forged with an entourage who assisted with fidelity flawless. It allows us to better understand what was behind her outfits not always the best taste or under the inelegant wig! Personally, I love what I discovered.
