With this book, the academician spirited walks us over his life without saying. Undeniably, Mr d'Ormesson handles the French lange with delight and fun of his pen. The remarks appear playful but they are also informative. I regret that the man is swept away by some elk and we sometimes flood of information that more a matter of culture showcase. One might think that the wise man betrays a false modesty. But the four stars are well deserved for the escape that gives this book and bland language of the man in green.
