Milla and Diaz where the encounter between a fighter who seeks his son abducted in six weeks by Mexican thugs and a man who had trouble understanding: from bounty hunter, slayer Milla ... is a strong woman, who fought for ten years to find her child, her marriage is not resisted, his family either. It is a loner who founded an association in the search for missing persons and holds with the hope of seeing one day his son. She met Diaz, a man with an aura of danger, which has the reputation of being merciless. It will help him find out what happened and they both find to save both.
This novel is exceptional. He touches the heartstrings of all mothers: the disappearance of a child. I cried with sadness Milla for his broken marriage, anger at the loss she had to undergo and the choices it will. The personality of Diaz, living enigma, reinforces the dark side of history. It is neither good nor bad. Just Diaz. This book, too quickly over, is for me one of the best I have ever read and undoubtedly the best of LH, which I'm a big fan.
