The Green Line (Paperback)

Customer Review

And yes, our King who tries at all brings us a wonderful work. A real writer who is afraid of nothing! Already the publication serialized, was daring! The atmosphere is great, you really feel the thirties, the impression has sometimes read a great American classic to the Steinbeck. The narration is pure, diverse, very engaging and interesting characters. The main character is very charismatic. Stephen King touch to everything here, the prison world, ethical and moral issues, with a sometimes disillusioned humanism. And of course this fantastic side which integrates daily, as a common and normal part of life. A book that is very difficult to leave, as we want to know more about John Caffey, or simply to participate a little more at this time it is nice to visit, as it is "painted". The stories of Caffey and Paul Hedgecombe are almost parallel over time. Finally, where the border between freedom and confinement is located? Listening to that inner voice that counts us the past sometimes we ask the question, but in any case it is a nice trip that is offered in a time close but already over! The film is a very good adaptation for once.
